The Otherworld series keeps getting better, and closer to the end, darn it! I love all of Yasmine's books, but this was the series that got me started, and I feel like I know all the players better than some of my family.

This is Menolly's turn and her world is turned even more upside-down when Shadow Wing, the demon overlord trying to claim not only his realm but also Earthside and Otherworld, along with all the Spirit Seals, makes the battle even more personal when he kidnaps Menolly's wife Nerissa and forces Menolly to go into the Subterranean Realm to attempt her rescue. Thank the gods and goddesses that the 3 girls (Menolly and her sisters Delilah and Camille) have recently been able to forge alliances with the Vampire Nation and the Dragon Reaches. It's amazing what friends can help you accomplish.

I will really miss this series and Yasmine has said there are only three books left. While I look forward to those books, I'm really glad that she has started the Whisper Hollow and Fly By Night series. I'm totally addicted to her writing and am very glad she decided to continue after her publisher was going to shut down the series.

If you enjoy paranormal adventures with kick-ass, sexy protagonists I think you'll love her series too. I'll warn you though, she isn't above making her books very reality driven and people you fall in love with won't always survive. My fingers are crossed that when this series ends I still have all my "friends" among the survivors.

Camille, Delilah and Mennolly have been through so much. There has been great change, and there will be so much more. I know the series can't go on forever, but I wish it could. I applaud you Ms Galenorne, and I thank you with all my heart for such a fantastic series!
This book can only be described as WOW! One of my biggest pet peeves is when I can predict what's going to happen before it happens but this didn't happen AT ALL in this book! This is the last book her publisher is going to publish, and you could take the ending of this book as a series ending if you don't intend to continue on with the last three. There were so many plot twists that I didn't foresee which makes it a great book in my opinion!
This is another great book in the Otherworld series. I love all these books and I think this author is great! I can tell the series is coming to an end but the author is doing a great job how that is all coming together. I will miss this series very much. I almost fell like I am a sister too or at least a family member. I think these books would make a great mini series or just a TV show.
I've read this series from the very beginning and I really enjoyed it until the last couple of books. the first books was full of action and adventure and held a good plot but the last couple of books are boring, especially this one. The stories to me have become so scattered and full of just things that leave you guessing but not in a good way. The characters have lost their edge and have become predictable and sappy. Makes you want to root for the bad guy and you would think after all these books you would finally get to meet said bad guy.
Being an avid follower of the series I am disappointed to see it end. Especially given that it ended without a resolution regarding the big bad Shadow wing who was the main protagonist of the series. I want installments that follow the three sisters into their new lives. Surely there is enough for many more books if not three separate spinoffs. Needless to say I endorse the series wholeheartedly but only gave it 4 stars because of the many books that could have carried the series on.
My biggest qualm is to much repetition on the back stories. It took me almost half way through the story to stop and actually get to the current story line. We understand what the demon underground is and we know where the girls came from and how they got to the point in the story where we are reading it from. I really enjoy the books but come on and get to it. If a person can't remember or hasn't read the other ones then let them pick up those books and (re-)read them. I almost didn't get through this one because of it.
To me, this is the weakest entry. We're racing to the end, and it seems like Galenorn is trying to shove as much as possible into her last mass market paperback before she goes independent. This is really three books crammed into one. The first part is an intense, action packed battle putting a nice bow on the necromancer plot. The second part is pure character development as Menolly and Roman's romance advances, Camille prepares to move out to the Fae lands, and the sisters face huge changes. Then, Nerissa gets kidnapped, and we're into a full-on war with Shadow Wing and suddenly the spirit seals are back in play. I'm hoping we'll get more focus on the original point of this series--stopping Shadow Wing from getting the seals--for the last three books.
